Shape of the Sea
Welcome to the world of Leschek where sirens and mermaids roam the seas, and pirates slip between the clutches of the Nine Merchant Lords.
The seas once safe have turned deadly
Siren attacks are on the rise.
​No ship is safe from their clutches,
Except Maybe One
Darya is a shapeshifter,
like all mermaids
and sirens.
But her magic doesn't protect her from the abuse of her royal family.
Desperate to escape,
Darya joins the first ship she sees.
Captain Ortez is a pirate.
Worse...every port knows his name,
and with the numerous wanted posters,
They also know his face.​
to finally clear his name,
Ortez needs an island only mermaids can find.
But first, he has to
capture one.
As Darya attempts
to remain hidden,
Ortez gets closer,
not just to her secret,
but to her.
Thrown into a world of new dangers,
Darya realizes that helping Ortez might give her the freedom,
and maybe even family,
she's always craved.
But mermaids crave many things,
And if a pirate's word can't be trusted,
She might take his
heart instead.

Right now, I am pursuing traditional publication for the book meaning that I am still deep in the query trenches, hoping to catch the eye of a wonderful Literary Agent.
​
Once I sign with a Literary Agent, they will take this manuscript on submission to try to sell my book to publishers.
​
This does unfortunately mean that my book is not available to be read yet, but if you follow along with my journey, we will eventually get there!
